My work falls into three categories - writing, marketing and mentoring - which are all interlinked with my love for words and people and interspersed with emotion and empathy.
WRITING
Writing is my first love. I was editor of Welcome Aboard, P&O Ferries, onboard magazine for 6 years. I have been writing for 30 years and have had numerous articles and press releases published in a wide range of newspapers, magazines and trade publications. I worked with Sharon to produce quarterly magazines for P&O Ferries which involved creating engaging advertising copy, writing unique travel and lifestyle articles and conducting celebrity interviews. Tight deadlines meant many late nights and weekends lost to getting the publications out but we never missed a deadline and always produced a first class quality magazine.

I have built my career working for some amazing large corporate organisations including Bank of Ireland and P&O Ferries and smaller family-owned businesses such as MJM Marine and Dunbia as well as trade bodies including Livestock & Meat Commission and Irish Security Industry Association. I have set up marketing functions from scratch, I have developed successful marketing strategies, I have created some amazing marketing campaigns and I have planned and managed digital marketing strategies which have seen engagement quadrupled.
